Introductory Sampler Workshop 2-Day

$475.00
This workshop is intended for prospective career students with little to no welding experience, as well as hobbyists and diyers wondering if welding is right for them. We cover the three most common welding methods in this workshop over the course of both Saturday and Sunday. This is not an in-depth, technical class, it is for anyone who wants to get a general overview of welding before diving deeper whether that is on a hobbyist level or a professional level. Students spend four hours on each of the welding processes (MIG TIG and Stick), this is long enough to develope a basic understanding of each, but generally this is not long enough to become proficient in any one method.
We strongly encourage any prospective students that wish to take the certification classes to attend this workshop prior to enrolling. The cost of this workshop can be deducted from the cost of any Career Bundle starting within six months of the student attending this workshop.
If you cannot attend your scheduled course, please notify us no less than 24 hours before the class to rechedule. We allow one makeup opportunity that can be scheduled on any available weekend within six months of the originally selected course date.
Age requirements: We allow students as young as 14 years old with parental consent, a parent or guardian must be present to sign the consent form and provide at least two emergency contacts for any student under the age of 18. Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent for the duration of the course, make sure if your child is not able to drive that they have reliable transportation to and from the shop and that they pack a lunch.
For further information about this workshop or any of our other offerings, please feel free to contact us via email or by phone. Thanks!
